High Speed Switching Diodes

Switching diode (also called a Pulse diode) – semiconductor diode used in pulse (discrete) systems. A switching diode provides the same functionality as a switch. It has high resistance below the specified applied voltage similar to an open switch, whereas above that voltage it changes in a sudden way to the low resistance of a closed switch. Switching diodes are designed to rectifier high frequency signals. (it depends on the application, also as transient-voltage-suppression and detection diode)

Found in virtually every electronic application, switching diodes perform one of the most basic functions in a circuit. Robust performance is a must, whether for general-purpose switching or right up to ultra-high-speed switching. Please refer to below WEET product list of High Speed Switching Diodes.
